My injector duty went through the roof when I took the restrictor out. Installed the stage 1 kit and it didn't change.
Were you loosing fuel pressure or was your duty cycle too high? I would bet it is needing injectors at your power level.

It's also safer if the meth was to fail.

Safer for the motor. A better prevention method.
I think it's easier to tune a fail safe on the meth system than a failing fuel pump. But, that's just a guess!

If you are using 20-25% of your fueling from meth if it was to fail, besides having the IAT safeties in there, just from the lack of fuel it will fall on it's face and not produce enough power to do any damage to the engine. That is roughly the amount of fuel being provided to a a 700 rwhp car with the gain **** maxed out.
Many people say "I'll tune it to 12:1 and then bring it down to 11:1 with meth because I do not want to be meth dependent". In actuality that's the worst place you can be if it fails. You are the point where the most damage can happen, and the driver will not notice enough of a power loss to get out of it. Especially if it happens to be cold out and the IAT safety in the tune may not be reached.
If you floor your car at 14:1/15:1 it will not do any damage, it just makes no power and feels flat as can be. A boosted car at 12:1/12.5:1 is a melt down coming quick. Using pump gas of course, and there are certainly variables to that, but hopefully you get the point.
With the meth maxed the 60# injectors we provide (rated 3 bar so actually 7x lb) will still have some room left. Keep in mind that you are actually providing fuel for about 560 rwhp since the meth is taking up 20%.
No one would bat an eye at a 560 rwhp car running 60# injectors. So just keep your fuel flow steady with our stg 1 fuel system and your ready to make hundreds of passes on your build trouble free. Within reason we have proved this literally 100's of times now.
I hope that helps, of course checking your injector duty cycle is a basic part of any tune process.

Finally I'm not the only person that thinks this

Agreed.
Just like when I ran a dual pump setup and 1 pump died. Car would just go from 11:1 to 17:1 and misfire and act like a rev limiter. A few pulls later checked the pumps and 2nd one wasn't coming on.
There is a danger zone, and then there is just too damn lean to even rev or run. The 2nd is just annoying.
