Default Instaling factory Nav system C6 that didnt have it?

Im in the marker for an 08+ c6 now. I have seen a few without NAV. I really want factory Nav. I have seen Nav head units on ebay. What is required to install one of these in a car that didn't come that way factory?

Thanks,
Dave

Its easy, an hour tops. Buy the GPS antenna, plug it in and place it on top of the AC duct and the rest is cake.

Only if you have a tech II in hand to clear the radio secuirty so it can remarry to the new car its install in; to get it out of lock mode once installed.

If not, then your looking around $100 to take the car to the dealer to have them clear and remarry the Nav radio to your car with a Tech II tool.

Bluntly, the car comes secuirty vin clear from the factory, and once it installed and powered up in a car, Vin locks to the car it in.

When installed in to a different car and powered up, vin does match, and the radio going into security lock mode.

The dealer clears the vin number that the radio has stored, and when it powers up again, the radio learns the new vin of your car to store it in memory, and locks it to your car instead.

How much would a dealer cost to install the unit?
