Service Active Handling / stuck in park
Our 2008 corvette has 35,000 miles, is garage-kept, and well-maintained. We never drive it in the rain and we live in a dry area.
Three days ago, we took it out and the "service active handling" light came on suddenly. I stopped in our driveway and placed gear in park so we could investigate. When I tried to put it into drive, it would not. finally, I was able to get it into drive.
We drove off without any problems but the "service active handling" light never went away. The last three days, the light went away one day. Then, it came back on again. I also have no cruise control.
When hooked to a scan tool, no codes.

I did this and it fixed my issue, if you want to buy this part off me, it's a cheap fix. It's one of the ways to get rid of the "service active handling" light.

To get rid of the shifter lock out problem, I found this fix and get rid of it once and for all: https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...k-finally.html
