Default Flywheel Differences between LS1 and LS2?

Can anyone tell me if there are any differences between the flywheels on the LS1 and the LS2?

The LS1/6 flywheel is a flat surface design and the LS2/7 has a recessed friction surface. The LS2/7s use the same pressure plate and flywheel but different discs.
The C5 assembly has a lighter flywheel and pressure plate.
The LS7 clutch is fine up to about LS7 hp.

I appreciate the info! The reason I am asking is that I have recently put a Ram Twin Disc Clutch in my 2005 Vette and it came with a flywheel. I have been having issues with my reverse with the new clutch and I am trying to diagnose the problem(Ram was useless). I am wondering if the flywheel could be a problem because it seems as though the Ram Twin Disc was designed more for the LS1/6's?

If you cross the C5<>C6 clutch packages you need only keep the original series specific throwout and pilot bearing to be compatible.
Do you have an adjustable master?

No and I tried to get one but I have not been able to find an adjustable for the C6. I had one on order with Cartek only for them to tell me after 2 weeks that they could not make one for the C6 yet!

You will need to bleed the clutch some more and I bet you'll be fine. The clutch is a bear to get bled properly.

Does it shift fine in the other gears?

If you are fighting reverse, what does it do if you dont push the pedal down as far, or release the clutch a LITTLE to get it in gear? Its a far fetch, but Ive had it happen on a few cars, specifically one 05 C6 with an exedy....
