In car video of Speedo on off road pull w/ Vararam
I got out to the canyons today and had a blast with the 08!! I had the car corner weighted and aligned, and it handled Great! We hit an off road spot and made a few pulls, here's a video of one...
The car pulls VERY strong with just the Vararam!!

On one hand, headers were a very hard decision. There are many very well built headers on the market, both in 1 & 3/4 and 1 & 7/8. I spoke to a few different companies, and got some VERY nice offers!!!
On the other hand, I have to put my trust in my good friend and tuner Charlie at RPM Motors. While I certainly want to get the most performance and quality out of a header, this car is not a race car. It is my backup car to my hardcore modded C5!
One of my goals with this short buildup is to keep it wife friendly. I'm not locked into exhaust yet, but it won't be real loud.
Charlie's advice on headers are the Z06 Dynotechs 1 & 7/8 with high flow cats, 3" X pipe and 3" pipes back to the exhaust. This is what I'm going with.

j/k - - - At least she let you get a second 'Vette, you can't beat that!

So you took your C6 to 140 on a dirt road? Wait, you literally meant off-road? That seems pretty risky.
Also the timescale doesn't look right, 10mph to 140mph in 13-14 seconds?
A stock C6 takes about 20 seconds to reach 140mph. Yet with a Vararam and some Torco, you hit it in about 14?

My C6 dynoed at 415 RWHP with a K&N, Torco and a tune. I then put on the Vararam, and upped the Torco mixture from 1 quart per 16 gallons to 1 quart per 12 gallons for safety, due to the additional anticipated air from the VR.
I'm not the fastest shifter around, but after years of having to deal with shifting my duel disk Mcloed on my C5, shifting this C6 is a breeze!!! I got through the gears pretty quick, and started from a roll at around 10 MPH.
Vararam says once you get up a bit of speed, you will get a nice ram air affect.
I will tell you this thing is far from a stock C6, it hauls AZZZ
Just for kicks, here's another speedo shot at that same spot. This is an old one in my 98 before I upped the HP earlier this year and changed out 5th and 6th to lower G-force gears...
