By the way, what is the widest that can fit a Z06 wide booty on stock Z06 rims, without touching the fenders? 345/30/19?
Yes. But if you run 345's on back and stock size up front you will get the engine drag control as the car thinks the rear wheels are slipping upon deceleration at high speeds. Not the end of the world, most people deal with it. You need to maintain close to the stock ratio front/rear size difference. I have a full wide body and run 295 fronts and I never get engine drag control, but my fronts did rub a little at full lock at first, they don't any more, as the tires have worn and the edge of the plastic wheel well has also.
Here are my stock wheel/tires next to my 345/295 Invos.

And here are my Invos 30,000 miles later, still going strong. I'm really happy with the life and performance of these tires.
Hello i have a 2008 c6 z51 m6 and i put a nice big tire in the back 325 on stock 19s rim's
What tires? I think most would be much too wide for this. But, a narrow tire like an Invo might work. I was tempted to try a 325 Invo, but decided to go with 305 Hankook's.
I have a pristine set of 245/40-18 Direzza Star Specs that i'd like to get some use out of. If I put them on the front and a set of 305/30-19s on the back, will the size difference cause AH issues?
I figure after I wear out the star specs I'll go 265/35-18s in front but I'd sure like to use those Star Specs first.
Stock 245/285 yields a 1.2" difference in diameter
If I go 245/305 then I'll have a 0.6" difference in dia.
So what is required to fit an 11" wheel in the rear? And what offset?
I would say offset between 73 and 78 would work. I have Ace R1's which have a 73 offset and they fit perfectly with 305 Pilot super sports. They are right on the edge and the widest part of the sidewall actually is out from the finder a few mm but its fine like that. No rubbing at all.
I do not, other than this one which doen't help much. Like I said, the bulge of the side wall is slightly outside of the fender. The tread is not at all. It looks and works great. If you went to a slightly smaller tire (295 or maybe an Invo which are made a bit narrower) then it would tuck in completely. The pilot super sports are prety beefy. I believe CCW uses a 78 offset which is probably perfect but I dont think anyone else makes them. Its either a slight compromise or pay the price.

Will that work?

Hey, I have 245/40/18 BFG KDWs on the front and 305/30/19 Nitto Invos on the rear. Everyone once in a while when grabbing 4th I get a traction active light...may have something to do with the 660whp?? But its pretty rare, and I have never had AH come on at any speed without actually sliding, I've had it up to 160ish..... so that tire combo seems like it works ok. If you have them you can probably get away with it, but when replacing I will be buying 265s for the front.
I'm currently trying to get a set up for road course racing. I'm looking to get my hands on some rear 18x 10s that I can put a 305/35/18 on and fit under my C6 base model. Toyo R888s will be the tires, but it looks like I might need a custom set of wheels to get what I'm looking for. THe C5Z is 18x10.5 but the offset is way off. I was considering maybe getting a pair and grinding inner surface of the hub down a little to bring it in the wheelwell and get it to fit. Of course I don't wanna weaken it and have it break and die
That's awesome! I was really wanting the 305s but was hesitant until I heard otherwise. Thanks so much for the reply. My whole goal is track time and big HP is not in my book yet so I'm thinking I'm fine.

Found this today, says they do custom bolt pattern and offset, 135 a wheel is reasonable too. then i could have a 18 x 10.5 in the back that would fit and look right, but then I would have to think about somethign for the front.... http://www.evasivemotorsports.com/mm...5x100-79-A-GMB
EDIT: whoops, messed that one up, the wheels are like $900 each, the silver finish I was selecting was +$135, hahaha, well they say when something looks too good to be true.....it usually is. At that price I could have myself a nice set of custom CCWs, and still have money for lunch leftover.

Here is my OEM sized tires on the 1/2" wider TSW wheels. As someone stated, the offsets are different than stock so bulge a little. Personally, I feel they fill up the wheel wells nicely.
I would not recommend putting Z06 275s at the front of a coupe C6, even if the tires do not rub. There is something about the geometry that goes wrong. My car was incredibly unstable with the 275s z06 wheels on the front, constantly jumping side to side and ultimately killing the tires in very few miles. And yes, I did go to the service shop at least 3-4 times, even different places, to make sure that I have the correct alignment. It just does not work well.
I put Z06 replica wheels at the front with stock C6 coupe size and the thing now is stable as a rock. Love it.
I have a set of TSW nurburgring wheels @ 20 x 10.5 & 19 x 9 for my C6. I am having a hard time finding matching tires that will not interfear with the traction control. The current Nitto tires have a 1.5" difference in height. F- 265/30/19 & R- 285/30/20.
I have been searching online for tires and I am having a difficult time finding tires that will match any given width & aspect ratio for 20 x 10.5s & 19 x 9s.
A little off topic but will a 18x10.5 replica c6 wheel work with a 305/45r18 nt05r tire fit on the rear of a z51, or what would everyone recommend to run on the back of this thing I have 501hp/453tq and I'm really having a hard time hooking looking to go down in rim size from my 19 and throw some big nittos or mt any advice would help at this point thanks
