OK... I must ask, what are the differences between the engines excluding the supercharger? I was under the impression it was an LS3 with a blower.

LS3 and LS9 are the same displacement and design...6.2 liters, V8. Other than that, there are very few, if any common parts.

so If I was to install the Supercharger on my LS3 it would be the same as the LS9, outside the cam? HP wise.

I knew the internal components are upgraded to work with the supercharger, and is the same displacement as the LS3, BUT yes it is a LS9, reworked LS3.

The LS9 compression ratio is 9.1 to 1, the LS3 is 10.7 to 1, so I would say no.
