Default Valve Stem Leaking

I wondering if someone good me if I should tighten the valve stem on the car or off. My left rear wheel has very slow leak and I believe that valve stem is not tight of enough. Any help with matter would appreciated. Thanks

On the car is fine. Spec is only 62 inch pounds or 7 Nm (that's inch, not foot). Do not over-tighten, that will just make it worse.

Check to see if the air is actually leaking there. Some soapy water placed around the seal area should tell you. If there is a leak go to a tire store and have them install a new seal kit. If you want to do it yourself the valve stem seal kits are available from NAPA. Here is the NAPA info:
Part Number: ECH 9201404
Product Line: Echlin Ignition
