Default Gear reduction starters

Anybody here have some experience/recommendations on what to use? Mine is starting to drag a bit, tested battery and it's fine, starter was pulling close to 300 amps, time to go. I see this one but it's kind of expensive.

there a re several different one's out there but I don't know how good they're going to fit, if they'll work with headers or any of the stuff that Sac City already had figured out. That's why I asked here.
