Thinking of installing performance headers on the Vette..2007....C6..questions being..any HP increase? Do they need to be welded to the pipes or is there a set that can be put on with out any welding? How much increase in noise would be heard in the cockpit? Thank you for any help on this topic....

No welding needed , most just slide together and muffler clamps hold it all together. You will need a tune either local or mail order

With my NPP mufflers in the closed position there is not much of an increase in sound , some but not much .
But .... with them open it sounds down right angry , it's loud but it sounds great

Kooks LT headers and cattless x pipe. Bit $s but worth it to me. (No welding)

Old school toggle switch on NPP , loud when wanted. 11 G.S.

Check out the Hinson Headers. I've got a set in the garage ready to on this winter. Great looking headers up close. And can't beat the price. They also install without any welding, and can be purchased with or without catted X-pipes

We were the first to develop a fully bolt on header and exhaust system for the late model Corvettes so the home user could bolt them on with no cutting or welding to any of their exhaust. We also include new GM exhaust gaskets and 02 extensions so there is nothing else needed for install.

Our system will retain the use of any stock, or stock replacement muffler system on the market today (Borla, Corsa, BB, Flowmaster...)

Our systems are stainless steel for long life, and come with a limited lifetime warranty to the original owner.

All of our systems are modular as well so catalytic converter replacement is easily done and can be removed for track use if you would like to do so.

Systems are slip fit for maximum flow and no reduction in ground clearance for flanges.

We offer three different sizes and configurations for the C6 from our 1 3/4 Street Series all the way to our 1 7/8 Super Pro system.

You can look at all versions here: LG Motorsports Exhaust

As with any long tube exhaust, a re-program of the computer should be done for maximum performance gains and no check engine light.

Let me know if you have any questions, more than happy to help!
