Hi Wonder can anyone help me with the build date of this LS7 engine:
10GEB 3321114016. Its thrown me for a loop because I understand
the numbers are supposed to be 9 digits. This one is 10 digits long. Appreciate any info you can give me

Sorry friend but my records do not show any GEB LS7's for any model year. At least not for any Wixom builds. Not sure what broadcast codes are being built at Bowling Green PBC. If anyone knows of a GEB please chime in.

thanks eaglei, Its invaluable having your information available to this forum, The 10GEB 3321114016 engine is a replacement engine if that makes a difference. Do you know if they are made at wixom? I purchased it this year (2015) and was curious what year it was actually built.

Did some digging and found out that GEB is the code for a Bowling Green Performance Build Center LS7 long block engine. Also your Julian build date is 211, which means yours was built on July 30. Build year was 2014.
I thought your number had one digit too many but turns out an extra digit was added to BG builds. So thanks for asking! Your question brings new info for all.
And thanks to Rob at BG PBC!

Thank you sir for going to the trouble of finding out the build date for my GEB. I appreciate it. You are just one of the reasons this forum is a fantastic resource.

Hi Don, John Ross built my crate motor in Wixom - replacing the one that Linda Hooker built for my 07. It was fun till it went pop. can you tell when mine was made:
10BY5 320991304
judging by a previous post, I think March 9th, 2013? Interested to see if I decoded it right!
Thanks again for all your info and posts!

I couldn't find the thing here. Is this for American/Europe models only? I don't think we can see the plate name thingy for Gulf/Middle Eastern models of the Corvettes.

The nameplate is kinda hidden. Pull up on the passenger side plastic engine cover to remove it. Then look between the pipes near the rear of the engine.
