Default Chrome Center Cap for Stock Painted Wheels

Although I like the look of the stock painted aluminum wheels, I don't like the center cap with the dull crossed flag decal. I came across these chrome center caps with color crossed flag emblems at Conceptual Corvette Cosmetics, Inc. and I really like the way they set off the stock wheels with just the right touch of Bling. Maybe not enough for Vegasdude, but perfect for my tastes.

Looks mismatched and out of place IMO. Have you tried taping off the colored logo and painting the rest of the cap the same color as the wheel? IMO that would be much cleaner

The logo emblem can be purchased separately if you prefer that look on stock center caps. I much prefer the chrome center.

$225 for four chrome caps with emblems. Emblems only, $150. Kinda spendy but I like the look. PM me if you want contact info.

Like them a lot better than the decals that came with my WCC wheels.

Z06doc,

I cant decide if I like the "two tone" look yet or not. I have the same car color/wheel combo as you (very nice). I have been trying to get color decals to put on those bland painted center caps but so far 2 vendors have sent me ones that are too wide. It needs about a 2" tip to tip width to fit right. Those decals (emblems) you have look like they are raised...are they metal with self stick adhesive backing? and what is their tip to tip width? Maybe those decals would work on the stock painted center cap. Can you post that info or pm me the contact info for the vendor

Thanks!

I've seen several displayed pre-production silver wheeled Z's wearing brighter center caps w/colored emblems. Turns out the displayed center caps are for the polished wheel option. Fichtner's parts Bob, sells the #9597006 center cap set(4) for about $90.00 w/shipping. These slightly brighter caps go well with the silver wheels. Also, no dimples the aftermarket caps have.

The decals are raised and glossy, although I don't know what material they're made of. They appear to be high quality. As you can see from the first photo in my thread (which shows the stock cap and aftermarket cap side by side), the raised emblem is almost identical in size to the stock decal. The chrome center caps were shipped with the emblems already attached, but they can be purchased separately. I'll PM the contact info since forum rules won't let me post the phone # of a non-forum vendor.
