Another Italian Vette rebody
This one by Zagato
I like it better than the red Bertone Mantide
I think its based on a Z06 or ZR1
It looks great but so does the Vette so the need for it is questionable
Probably has a full CF body, Has some nice lines to it

These cars all seem related design wise to me
The gorgeous E type Jag was designed by an aircraft designer
When Enzo Ferrari saw the specs of the E type he ordered the 250 GTO built to challenge it. The 250 GTO became the greatest of all Ferrari Sports cars
I also read that GM was inspired by the 250GTO when they designed the C3
The Maser has some C3 and GTO lines in it as well

The interior looks straight out of a padded cell at the funny farm and how do you put gas in it?

I think GM is dropping the ball on this one. The Italians seem to be in love with the Corvette underpinnings. They should be offering up chassis and drivetrain to them. Let them build whatever they want on top of our platform. Put our factory back to work whatever it takes. I once read somewhere that the author didn't care if Porsche had to make shovels. Whatever it took to help them keep making sports cars was alright with him. Chevy needs to start thinking outside the box so that they can keep making our Vettes. Even better, GM could completely build them alongside of Vettes.

I think that's fantastic. It's like DB9 meets Sagaris meets 599. Much better than many rebodies that have been done that cut corners and try to maintain as much of the factory bits, like hood/doors/hatch for cost. Always nice to recognize parts bin pieces. That's a GTO shift **** and GTO window switches, and I'm still trying to place the headlight control.
I do have one gripe......
Who the hell is going to pay for such an expensive limited run car.....with manual climate control?

I think it is very good looking. Probably costs a ton though.

Drifting
Not sure I really like all the front scoops. My guess is that only one, behind the wheel, is actually functional. The rear is fairly slick but I bet the overall Cd is a little higher than the Z. The Bertone on the other hand, probably has a Cd that is way out of line. Now, the 250 GTO is what it is for the reasons it was built and still one of the all time best looking, best running and most desired Ferrari's of all time. Yea, I'd trade the Z in a heartbeat for one. Even if they weren't 5 mil a pop, ride like a truck, won't stop and are both hot and noisy.
