Well
Why would my car blow coolant out of the exhaust?
It was dripping coolant out the pipes as we were pushing it up a hill
It won't start but turns over fine .

Would a blown head gasket keep it from starting ?
I dumped the clutch and started doing a burnout and it started smoking real bad out the tail pipes and throwing coolent all over the Camaro behind me then it died and wouldnt restart :/
I really hope it just a gasket .
I had to lol at the advertisment below my post : www. Seal-A-Head. com/ On-Sale-Now ,, hahaha

Do you have a warranty? My guess is cracked block. Had it happen on my 1969 427 C3.
Keep us posted on what you find.

It happened to my '69 Pontiac (428 cu in) as well. I had OIL in my coolant when it occured also. Might want to look. Let us know what's up...good luck.
BTW, do you have any mods?

I pulled passanger side plugs and found #2 and #4 plugs were wet with coolent , then i pulled the driver side and found this in #1 .
Without any plugs in the motor it spins over fine and no out of place noises .
I did drop this plug on the ground when i was taking it out but i highly dought it did all that by dropping it 2 feet .
Time to dig deeper

Bummer zoomz.
That plug looks like it got hit with debris. I remember seeing a Z06 with a broken piston at the dealership my friend was fixing. It broke the piston and then broke the block dumping the coolant into the crankcase and through the oil. He said it broke while running hard but nothing out of the norm. It was covered under warranty at the time.
The owner of the car knew a few folks related with GM and they said something along the lines of "oh, you got one of those engines", meaning there were some LS7's that had some piston and block issues.
Hopefully it is nothing major, but I am trying to figure why it would not at least try to start if it turns over okay. Makes me think it lost the crank signal. Maybe hook up HP Tuners and see if it shows RPM while cranking.
Good luck and let me know what you find.

That sucks.
Please keep us posted with what you find. We're all saying prayers and doing "intact engine block dances" for you (engine equivalent of rain dances).

I will try that Mike .
It didnt throw any codes at all .
We hooked up the laptop while waiting on the tow truck :/
No water in the oil thank god , at least not in the sump tank .
It did empty the coolent tank tho .

Melting Slicks
The LS7 uses a 2-piece electrically welded sodium filled exhaust valve. Unfortunately, the valve stem separates from the head occasionally. This would not be so bad, except the LS7 also uses hypereutectic cast pistons. When a steel valve head collides with a cast piston, the cast piston loses and comes apart. The result is a connecting rod swinging around with nothing guiding it on the top end. The coolant can be coming from a broken cylinder head chamber, and/or a broken block sleeve.
If you have pulled the two oil sump drain plugs and no coolant came out you are lucky. Hopefully you just have damage to the cylinder head and #1 piston.
Best of luck!
