I posted an idle clip. It was raining so I was trying not to get wet. I have a warm idle clip to upload next.

Edit: Both Idle clips are up

I ended up finding my old dyno graph

Difference from then and now is
-WCCH E85 heads .130
-Mcleod RXT
-Ported Fast 102

So with those 3 mods i gained 62WHP

I'm curious if you had to do anything for managing heat to get close for 14:1? Upgraded radiator/fans, coated headers, heat coating on heads/valves. Anything other than the 160° t-stat?

E85 manages heat pretty well.

Im on E85 now, no issues with heat N/A but Im thinking of milling again to get rid of FlexFuel and go full E85 for more compression. Considering using cooling mods at the same time to take the compression to the limit.

Would like to keep the same power but get some mpg back.

So you're on some flex fuel variation of E85 now, but you want to mill the heads more, upping the compression to the limit, eliminate flex fuel (or your ability to run pump gas or E85) and just run 100% E85 all the time....and you want to do all this to not gain any power, but get better mpg?

Sounds like your plan will result in the exact opposite of what you are wanting unless I'm reading this wrong.

Generally speaking: more compression = more power and 100% E85 will get worse fuel economy than a mixed tank of E85 and 93 for instance.

I'm running full E85 now but have the ability to run 91 with the FlexFuel conversion. It's costing me compression though to have the ability to run pump gas which I'm not using. I don't care if I'm locked into E85 at this point. So I would like to take compression to its limit, and since I'm happy with my power level, I would like to reduce the volume of fuel consumption so that the power gained from the compression ends up being a wash and I can get slightly better mpg.

I'm just unclear though if this can be done in the tuning or if displacement would have to be dropped.

Performance tuning for hp and mpg tuning for cruising are two totally different parts of the map. You can have your cake and eat it too.

LG doesn't release the specs to the G7XX but it is the biggest camshaft they make.

Pretty darn good numbers, especially when you are trying to keep it a flex fuel car and not E85 only

Why did you stick with the stock throttle body? Would a larger aftermarket one, produce bigger gains?

I'm sure it would pick up around 10whp or less but to me it wasn't worth paying $600 when I can port and it only cost me my time.

Thanks, im currently doing super high compression turbo build it's almost done I'll keep you guys posted. I got rid of the saddle bags and put a fuel cell in the back.

Will you still be on E85 or going to something better?

Default Wicked!

That's the rumble I want. Looking at changing my cam as we speak! Gonna do E-85 flex fuel too at some point. Trying to get to 650whp on my 454ci stroker.

Wish they would release the cam specs but i know places won't...

GM heads milled to .130 or aftermarket heads?
