whose spraying 150+?
Just seeing whose spraying 150 or more and want to know what you did on the fuel side. I know a few Pplspraying 100-150 running stock pumps with the KB boost a pump and they seem fine. I've got a nano setup with a nitrous outlet plate. I'm at 585 N/A and will be spraying 150 in top of that.... still on stock fuel pump and clutch...

Do you think a stock clutch will hold that ? ...that's going to be a lot of torque added. Also, if you're not already running drag radials, I'd plan on it.
I'm strongly considering N2O but I'm also looking at a new clutch and a proper wheel/ tire set up...no sense in making 700whp/700 wtq just to spin the wheels.

First I love the N/A power. I've built a bunch of blower and turbo LS cars over the years and some have made alot more power but none of the high hp cars gave me the same feeling and we're capable of daily driving... so I'll definitely be keeping true to its roots and staying N/A with the occasional shot of juice.
I won't be spraying in 1st or 2nd. Mainly roll and 1/2 mile races. I won't be running drag radials as I will not sacrifice cornering ability for straight line performance... as for the clutch? No idea but only one way to find out the engine setup is wcch with vengeance racings Sumbich 247/258 .661/.652 112+4 cam cold air and longtubes.

Op you need to talk to Wade Martin. Not sure what his name is on here. He has your identical na setup from vengeance spraying a 150. He recently did a clutch from what he told me at the Ga 1/2 mile last month. You will quickly change your mind about not running drag radials I think. 3rd will be unusable in the kit with a 20" tire. Maybe Wade will chime in. Good luck

I'd go ahead and replace the clutch before you kill it. Mine lived at 701/667 on a 125 shot on a few pulls in Mexico but wanted no part of it from a dig. I got an FJO progressive controller and that helped.
It probably wouldn't hurt to bump up to a higher capacity pump just to be on the safe side.
Good luck and look forward to seeing the numbers.

I met Wade a few weeks back but didn't get a chance to really get into the specifics. I've got a PM into him.
His car is what made me decide on the sumbich and hands down one of the best cam selections I've ever made. Nearly every cam I've ever put in a car I've regretted not going bigger. Not the case here!

Melting Slicks
I run the Fore triple pump system which is obviously overkill for a simple nitrous setup, but when you look at the costs for labor to swap the fuel system out, I wanted to only do that once...so I opted for more fuel and I spray a 200 dry shot currently, but will be switching to a 300 dry shot once the direct port is decided upon.

Are you on stock fuel rails?
I've run plenty of cars on spray with street tires? Typically spray in third and fourth with a little wiggle on the hit in third. This car will never see a drag strip. The occasional 1/2 or mile race would be it but lots of street runs

Wet shot vs dry
300 will harder than a 150 wet, but 150 is equal to a 200 dry. 200 wet shot with all the right mods and set up you can get low 10s on drags and high tens on street tires......good luck

You don't want it all or nothing and your driveline doesn't either.

have ever thought of toyo r888s i run them in the 345 30 19 and love them they hook great in strait line esp when warm and have a harder sidewall since they are really a raod track tire and seem to wear great i got about 7k miles on them this summer and they still are at 4/32 im only 500rwh but i can hook first

What size are you going to run in rears if its the stocker 19 or 20 mid tens I say that's if dont hook up.....555r is a good tire for 19 inch set up....if you cut 1.4 1.5 hopefully 9s will be in the picture good luck....
