Default Exhaust NPP Stopped Working

My 2007 Z06 stock exhaust has stopped working from Mile to Wild. I had Corsa's on and wasn't happy so I replied the stock exhaust back on.

However it no longer switches from two to four exhaust.

The mech. is loose and manually moveable but seems to b stuck in the wide open position.

Any idea as to where to start?

Fuse is good!

There is a vacuum line that runs all the way from the back of the manifold to the muffler tips. You need to validate that line is holding vacuum.

There is also a module located in the rear bumper cover that has been know to fail in older cars.

There are posts and how-to's for both issues I mentioned.

Just an FYI, it really doesn't switch from two to four exhaust. With the valves open, the exhaust goes through the two inner pipes (straight through). With the valves closed, the exhaust is routed through the entire muffler and uses the two outer pipes. The valves don't completely seal off the two inner pipes when closed, so you may have a little bit of exhaust still come through but it's designed to primarily use only 2 pipes at a time.

Could be a solenoid in the rear bumper area.

I made a thread on my issues with the bi-mode and the fix was solenoid replacement.

I encountered the same issue. Solenoid fixed it.

When I bought my Z06 all 4 pipes were open. The problem was the vacuum line at the intake.

Thank you for all of your assistance. I finally got around to working on this issue. Verified the fuse was good, tested the module which is sending 14 volts to the solenoid. Therefore tomorrow I will order a new solenoid.

Did you test to see if you had vacuum available?

I just finished checking the lines at the solenoid and both held vac. I even watched the valves open and close.

So tomorrow I order the new solenoid.

Again ty for your help!
