z06 2006 MODEL P0106 after cams headers
Hi everybody.I am from Athens Greece,and i just bought a Z06 aweek ago.The car is with Katech stage 2 cams fast 102mm intake headers xpipe akrapovic etc.the car has 560whp in mustung dyno but i see always check engine light for map sensor P0106.also at low rpm 500-1100 the car jumping and is not good for driving in trafic.i installed a new oem map sensor today but after 20 miles i saw it again.
the car has diablo tune trinity.Do you think this is the problem? Maybe i need to buy hp tuners or efi live for this upgrade?
Do you think i have to install a2 bar map or anything else?.
Please advice.

The P0106 is not a tuning problem. If you're replaced the sensor, I'd start looking for a wiring issue.

An off the shelf diabol tune will not even be remotely close for those mods. It needs to be custom tuned.

You have a car with an aftermarket cam, intake and headers.... And you have not had it tuned by someone who is actually competent? You are using the Diablo? If you answer yes to both, then that is your problem. Do you know Panos?

Yes i know PAnos very well. He told me for hp tuners. I allready replaced the map sensor. Same situation at low rpm.not for a ride but when i try to stop somewhere or to park its very difficult because i cant keep 1000 rpm easily

I think Panos sent me your calibration to see if I could help (I tuned his car). If it was yours that I reviewed, it was garbage and based on what I saw, I wouldn't drive the car.
The MAP sensor needs to be specific to the model year of the car. In 2009/2010 there were multiple changes made and the sensors are not plug and play. Make sure you got the right sensor.

I will always help someone who is willing to learn, listen and help themselves. I would need to see your tune file and a good log with DTCs. Panos could help with this. He's gotten pretty good with HPT.

lol!!i was by my self and know the are 3 cammed z06s..his car is really strong..we raced an hour ago he was right next to me from 2nd to 4th gear..I nearly was like half a car ahead in 4th gear..very close race!!he made 560 an a mustang so he is close to 590-600 whp on a dyno jet..Michael his car needs a couple changes but he has to get hp tuners..
