So how did this turn out. I am ready to install mine but wanted to know what problems or solutions you came up with??

Also is there any suggestion on what application or part number to use for the truck vent?

Good deal. I am going to order it just in case. I hate stopping and starting due to parts issues.

I am with OP though. It would be nice to know if someone has successfully installed a Nitrous outlet style kit.

Alright. Update on my end. The kit that was suggested to work did not. Huge shock, I know.

Long story short I called to ask Nitrous Outlet what they suggest in changing. I explained that this would not work the way it came. They seemed very willing to help out but did not get back with me in over a week now after saying they were going to mock one up with an MSD and send pics.

I am going to be installing the line Whis9 used. It showed up a couple days ago.

Same thing happened to me with stock intake manifold. Gave them feedback, returned it, nothing ever changed. So good luck with that.

And that is BS...... I mean waiting a week seemed excessive to me. Cheap ugly *** line it is.

Long story. Short version, is that AHP dropped the ball. Not exactly sure what happened, but the heads I had them rework appear to be a different set of heads..... They sure did look purdy out of the box though. Not so purdy when looking at them with my measuring instruments.

Official closure to the original thread question. Nitrous Outlet attempted many combos in house. They said today that they would have to custom make a steam vent if you wanted one in that style. Not sure if they plan on making one at any point down the road or not. I did not ask cost for that but I bet its not cheap.

The factory piece in that eBay link looked like a winner to me.. I assume no one has tried that solution (yet) with the MSD?

I used the one Whis9 used. The truck line or whatever. It is installed with my MSD. No issues. Plenty of room. I have not decided where I want to tee it in yet though.

I think I'm just going to buy the powder coated fittings and some AN hose/fittings. Just run my own.

Just ordered the line from FleaBay.

Now I just need to deal with pulling the plugs out while the heads are on the car..

The initial route I was going to take until I realize I was gonna have over $200 and fittings and hoses. I have about 30 bucks in the metal line and a few bucks in the rubber hose

My rivets were about 1/4" deep so you know how far you have to go. I used a punch to drive mine out but my heads were off. They were in there pretty dang tight so I would assume they could be drilled. My worry would be drilling far enough to relieve the tension and then the drill shoving the rivet bit down into the water jacket.

Good luck. Let us know how it works out.

Yeah, I have a couple of ideas.. I have my original heads, I may work out the method, then attempt to do it on the car.
