Wishful thinking Bill. The only thing higher on the Z51 will be the price and weight.

I don't know how guys guys except Cayman, Evora type steering feel in a car with front tires wider than their rear tires and more weight on the nose than either.
That being said, the new 911's steering is nothing to write home about and I think the C7 should be able to match it.

For those hoping that the C7 will "feel" like an Evora or a Cayman, no matter how great the steering is, it will not "feel" the same. Those are REAR ENGINE cars with SUB 3000 lbs. and the storage space equivalent to a lunchbox. It's just not going to happen. Just as the Evora will never match the "feel" of a shifter cart.

I'm not sure doing that would produce any big results, because as stated above by robvuc and Kappa, it's the Vettte's chassis design and tires that ultimately impacts the steering feel.

The Z51 is simply a "suspension" package...I just ordered a Z51 C7 Saturday, and the only performance enhancing option available is the Dual Performance Exhaust system. I added that to my car, and then contacted Hennessey about adding their Cold Air Intake to it on day one. They told me that the car will make 470 factory HP according to the word they have gotten. Said with the exhaust option, and their CAI that my car will make the same, or just slightly higher HP than the current Z06 model.

Not money. Maybe Pizza or Starbucks gift certificate. Yes the Z51 will make more power..
Sam...to remind you ..you said the C7 NPP was vacuum while I said it was electric.

However, my understanding of direct injection is that it supports higher compression because in conjunction with a better design combustion chamber gives a more even and precise burn significantly reducing the chances of pre-detonation.
Because it is precise it does not need the larger intake valve that motors without direct injection do need. However it still needs the larger exhaust valve as well as a controlled duration for velocity management of extracting spent gases.
Just my $.02 worth

Am I the only person that would be much happier with LESS models to choose from? I really loved the C5 take, that you either had a Corvette or a faster Corvette.

I am old school and if my understanding about direct injection is wrong I am sure someone will come along and correct me.
