Need help with changing dash plaque
I ordered this new plaque from GM Partshouse. I was told it would come with installation instructions but it didn't. I think it looks better than the stock dash plaque. If anybody's done this mod I sure would appreciate some help with removing the stock dash plaque. Thanks in advance.

Yikes! Good luck with that! I don't think anyone has tried to do that, yet.

A lot of us have done it, it just pulls off, no screws, no clips, just get your fingernails behind it and pull. If you use a flat blade, make sure you don't scratch...but trust me it's just a pull....
this is why you need trim tools from amazon, other places:

Thanks a lot, I'm so relieved, I'll attempt it tomorrow
Btw, Do I have to remove any panels on the center console or just pull off the piece as is?

no panel to remove. get a very thin small flat blade screwdriver, wedge it in at a corner, and pry up. it'll pop right out. then just use your hand to pull the other side out. it'll then be obvious how to pop the new one in. just be sure the prongs align to the slots before pushing. easy peasy. good mod.

Thanks everybody for the replies. You guys were spot on, it was quick & easy. I just plucked it off with a very small flat tip screwdriver, it popped right off and the new plaque snapped right on. Thanks for the confidence.
Tip: I used painters tape around the edges of the stock plaque to avoid scratching dash panel with screwdriver
