Default 2015 with CFZ (Ground Appearance Pkg)

Anyone have pictures of a stingray with CFZ? Is it the same as the Pacific ground effects, or is it the same as on the Z06? They are stating its the same as the Z06, but the Pacific gnd appearance package does not go all the way to the rear wheel like on the Z06.

Anyone know?

Trying to figure out if its worth the $3k

The one I saw at Carlisle went all the way to the rear wheel. In fact, if I didn't know it was a GM factory display car, I'd of thought it had ACS Zero 7 skirts on.

Ok, I will see if I can find a picture. I don't like the pacific ground effects that fade into the side of the car. Looks incomplete. Want to make sure the 3k brings the ground effects all the way to the rear wheel.

What's up with GM lagging so bad on details for C7 options? There has been little info about many of the new options for 2015.

Amazing, isn't it? It was worse for the 2014.

Maybe the option is on constraint and that is why you cant see it. On the website, the option only adds the splitter and the spoiler. It doesn't show the rockers.

I have been trying to find out this info for the longest time and no one knows the details of how the CFZ looks like. I placed my order for my 2015 with CFZ on August 3rd and it's still at 1100 due to the CFZ constraint.

I'm going to drop the option this week just so the car gets built. Tired of waiting without knowing exactly how the CFZ looks like anyway.

Keep us posted here if you happen to find out any more info!

I'm PREEETY sure the CFZ package is the same thing as the Stage 2 Z06 aero kit. If so then the side skirts taper inward halfway down the car but continue on the the rear wheel well. The made the cut inward to make getting in and out easier. And apparently it performed even better in the wind tunnel than side skirts that ran in one continuous line from front to back.

There are photos of the Stage 2 Z06 aero kit somewhere on here.....

That's the thing, it's all speculation and no official word from GM on how the CFZ will look like. My dealer also said he "thinks" it'll look like the Z06, but not 100% certain.

Not sure if info is correct or not but have heard that plant in China producing CFZ parts had burnt down and they don't know when it will be up and running again? Possibility why it has been on 0% constraint. Anyone have anymore info?

Search for photos of the Pacific package. That includes the CFZ carbon flash painted ground effects package.

Your dealer should read the Order Guide. The CFZ package is on display on the Pacific design package. Google for photos etc. of that package.

It is NOT the same as the Z06 CFZ option. The splitter is like the Z06 base splitter, the skirts like the Z06 "Stage 2" skirts, and the spoiler is not the same as any of the Z06 spoilers (which don't fit the Stingray).

The 2015 "Buikd and Price" feature is up on Chevrolet.com. When you option for the CFZ package the image looks exactly like this. Only difference between what i posted and the image on chevrolet.com is the one above is a z06 and the one on GMs website is a Stingray.

In the end, its a whole lot cheaper to just go with after market pieces.

Ive been looking for this forever as well. Looks like it will get the BIG BLACK SPOILER. If I pull the trigger on a C7, I'll get the painted Z51 spoiler and add aftermarket splitter/skirts from either ACS or Weapon X.

Again, speculation. On the corvette.com build and price, side skirts are not shown. Spoiler is shown as the Z06 spoiler with the glass piece in the middle. No official photos yet. What's on the build and price on corvette.com does not match what's on the pacific edition. No official word.

Chevrolet.com does not display the side skirts, only front splitter and the spoiler, which to me looks like the Z06 style spoiler, not the Z51 style.

Well ok. I couldn't figure it out, so I ordered it. I was going to order a z06, but all the list were full. I was going to get the CFZ on the Z06 as well. So at least now I will know what it looks like. Oh its still at 100% constraint.

It appears that CFZ can no longer be ordered. You probably need to have your
dealer check on this so you don't get hung up with a car that won't get built. see the latest corvette info thread by Ken Fichtner.

Mike.

Well I got my order in and, and of course.....My dealer gives me my order number, but CFZ is not orderable. I'm not sure what this means. Does anyone know? I guess I have to order a Z.

It means that CFZ is not available to be ordered on a Stingray; the option has been dropped by GM.
