Default Rick/Barbara of WV travel to MD and get their Dream NRB Stingray~Delivery pics

50 days ago on a Saturday, Rick and Barbara of Bunker Hill, WV showed up for their appt and I was slammed. I was in the middle of delivering 6 Stingrays and they were the 3rd order of the day...I had to borrow empty office's and was hopping from one office to the next...so that's 9 deals in under 8 hrs, I usually have appts spread out better but some people were anxious to take delivery and I can't blame them. Rick and Barbara were very patient and much appreciative of my help building their Night Race Blue Stingray order. I also met up with them at the Corvettes of Carlisle event in August. They sold their 2005 Corvette while waiting for their new Vette so it worked out perfect for them! Yesterday they took delivery and below are some pics...Congrats!!!

Beautiful pair of Corvettes waiting to get delivered...

...and then as Rick and Barbara were about to go into the Business Office...in walks Gene from Ijamsville, MD and his first words to me were "May I speak to someone that knows Corvettes" I said I think I can help you with that. As it turns out, Gene owns a "Nissan dealership" just 25 miles North of Criswell and he had never owned a Corvette. So we walked the 40+ Stingrays we have in the inventory and took a 2015 Laguna Blue Z51 cpe with black interior 7spd manual for a ride. Equipped with Carbon Fiber exposed roof and carbon fiber instrument panel and 2LT. He loved the ride and traded in his 2013 Nissan Maxima that his daughter drove to high school as she is now in College and not in need of wheels...so he thought he would get a Stingray after owning 2 (two) GTR's. Gene's First Vette is a beauty!

Yesterday's other deliveries I will post up tomorrow. Save the Wave!!

Collin...first of all that is one COOL Avatar picture...that I know you and your trusty Camera took. I will be attending the Ocean City, MD Corvette show put on by the Free State Corvette Club for the very first time. I am sure it will be non stop Corvette talk with anyone and everyone. You have been averaging a new customer for me every 3 weeks or so....wouldn't that be great to get other folks sending me customers like you have!!
I look forward to seeing you and your wife at the show.

Best regards,

CF on the tag means Chesapeake Foundation because the money goes to Saving the Bay.

Two (2) GTR's he owned...sold them both as he said he was bored with both. He wrote me today that he loves the 7spd manual...and he loves the STINGRAY! Very impressed would put it mildly!

Let's just pretend it represents the Corvette Forum cause they've been trying to save that bay for over 20 years. I think the Feds just provided another 20M for that overwhelming challenge. Was reading where your Bay gets 5X more $$$ then what is spent on the Gulf of Mexico.

Funny encounter with a local food vendor here in FL. They used the Md flag and large letters on the banner proclaiming Maryland Crabs.

When I asked where the crabs are from she said New Orleans. Talk about pollution. All that fertilizer, sewage and stuff runs downhill and when the MS River empties into the gulf below N.O., you get the most polluted source of waters in the entire Gulf of Mexico. 4000 oil & gas platforms don't help either. At times it's a dead zone in the gulf.

Told her she should call it New Orleans crabs and take down the flag. She didn't even say it was Md STYLE crabs like most do.

I see a guy trying to fish in our local bay everyday and he comes back empty 99 out of 100. Universal pollution I guess.

Well this was good for a bump at least.
