Yep, lost a battle with my garage door frame. broke the mirror lens. The housing looks OK but not sure yet. Will know better once I remove the paint protection film.

In any case, I understand that the mirror lens is replaceable.

Was wondering if anyone had the shop manual instructions for that and could send me a pdf file.

Or if the lens isn't replaceable, I would need the instructions for removing and replacing the mirror housing.

I hope the visit to Spring Mountain in Feb gives me the needed tools to get out of my garage without damage. And BTW- this thread is NOT useless without pictures.

Altho this may not be the same on the C7, I've read up on the outside mirrors for the C6. My (recent) understanding is that there are about 5 points that connect to the mirror. Take note and see if you have all of them still there or if piece(s) have fallen out besides the glass. Even with those "docking" points, or whatever they're called, missing at least one can be replaced with a used one from a donor car.
