I notice some guys are able to track their car wherever it is on route to the dealership. How do you do that? I have my vin number and copy of the invoice? Thanks to all who reply.

Dealer activates on star, then you set up your account with the on star phone app. There is a "map" page, press on the little car icon, and it will tell you it's location.

Here she is (phone screen shot) leaving Bowling Green in route to Fl.

Your dealer has to report the car sold in the GM system. When they do that, the warranty starts. So while it's very possible, just realize you're warranty is shortened 2-3 weeks while you wait for the car to come in.

I never thought of that, good point. But wouldn't 2-3 weeks be a very long time for shipping, unless maybe it's a west coast location.
