Default May send back NAVTOOL

I'm starting to consider sending mine back for a refund since what we got is not what they listed on the preorder. There is no 4th video input. I was going to use it as the input for my dashcam. Vitaliy excuse about the car already having a rear camera is bull@#$%! If you can select to turn on the front camera you can do it for a 4th video input. We got screwed on that! No 3.5mm audio jack as listed. Now we have to buy a RCA converter cable. No instructions and nothing labeled correctly. Sorry for the rant but the more thought about it the more po'd I got.

What are the odds of you getting refunded?

With their service and communication track record, I'd fear you'll be getting a refund around this time next year...

You could sell it on here and be done with it quickly - I'm sure there are several who didn't get in on the pre-order who would jump on it now that it's no longer vaporware-like.

^^ I agree, list it and I bet it would sell fairly quickly.

Our experience might be something for you to consider about this vendor. I bailed on the pre-order and disputed the charge. Our friends came back to the credit card company and told them they shipped it and I had received it. But funny, they cannot seem produce a tracking number or anything else that showed they actually shipped it!

Do you really think you would get a refund from them?

Sell it here. Someone that was first on the list is still probably waiting... Who knows, maybe you can sell it for more than you paid for it!

Somewhere in the scrubbed threads is a comment from NavTool (or someone from NavTool) stating that a refund would be given if the delivered product was NOT what they promised.

I hate getting old.

Fred,

FYI, NavTool told me:

"Manual camera turn on is directly connected to the rear camera input of NavTool. If you activate the rear camera input and turn it on manually via the back button, it will also override the factory camera when vehicle is shifted into reverse. “

I'm surprised so many members on this forum are ok with A) Being lied to, B) getting ripped off. I guess folks have a short memory.

Their Website is "under construction". That is not a good sign.

Patches,

Found that out today from NAVTOOL. Posted about it in Elmers thread.

The website is still totally functional. It needed a bit of updating and it looks like they are getting around to it. I get email responses to questions within an hour during EST business hours.
