I found a company that makes covers out of the same (or nearly) material the visors are made of. Picked up 2 small stainless steel C7 emblems to complete them. The flash makes them look more noticeable but they really do blend in well.

I had that carbon fiber looking cover on but looked horrible to me. When I pulled them off they did take part of the air bag warning off. Not enough though.

I got my airbag warning covers and metal Stingray emblems from Forum Supplier Corvette Mods.

Best looking visor mod that I've seen

Buy this material and cut it to size. Looks great! Sticks right on there. Go to Amazon.

Kind of surprised nobody has posted pics of the available stickers that exactly match the suede. I just stepped out to the garage to snap a quick photo. The pic isn't very good without daylight, but these match both color and texture and cover the warning sticker completely with about an 1/8 inch to spare all around. Unless you're looking for them, they vanish completely to the eye when you're in the car. I got them off eBay for $30.

Sorry for the lousy photo. If you guys want to see them in daylight, I'll pop the top and snap a good one tomorrow evening.

Those are the same as what I got. I just added the C7 flags to mine. Match is almost perfect.

I removed the old sticker and had glue residue also. Used Goo Gone and it cleaned up nicely. Put on Z-51 stickers and applied carefully a little heat from the heat gun. Looks great but ended up as quite a bit of work.

I got brave and removed mine on my 3LT with microfiber material. 5 minutes later they are gone. Heated passenger side first with a common hairdryer, started a corner and it pulled off in one piece. Driver side was a little tougher in that it pulled off in strips but both are gone and all I had to do was rub the material a little with my fingers and you no longer can tell if they were ever there. No residue at all!

That was on a 3LT with suede. The stickers left no trace of being there.
I don't know if that would be the case with the "pleather" visors.
I just did the exact same thing and it looks great. Followed simple instructions found here. https://www.corvetteforum.com/how-to...g-label-368471

One of the first things that get done to all my new vehicles is the debadgeing ritual. I have yet to come across an airbag warning label that looked worse off than it did on. My C7 labels came off relatively easy however there was some glue residue left behind but nothing a little goo gone and elbow grease couldn't handle. I seen many of the guys with suede visors pull there's off with no residue left behind at all. If for some reason you have horrible luck you could always decal over it I guess.
