Default Help with stripe

I just received my 2016 Z06 and want to create a commemorative 1967 big block hood stripe for the car. The picture showing the preliminary design is open for discussion. I think the stinger should extend thru the gills to connect to where the larger square is located. I like the fade on the edges to give the stripe a three dimensional look. I also think the stinger shown is a bit wide but may look narrower if the stinger is extended. Stripe will be fire red (colour shown is not quite right) which is the same as the callipers on the car. I want to incorporate the simulated hood scoop as well. Need your feedback, thanks'.

The stinger doesn't flow with the lines of the car and the exhaust vents. It's going to look out of place.

I agree. I can understand what you're trying to do, but the look worked on a '67 hood and really doesn't on a C7.

I assume the car in the picture with the silver stripes with red pinstripe is yours. Personally I think that looks awesome and is one of the best looking full stripes I have seen on a C7 so far I would just leave it as it is, it looks great!

Actually that is a corvette forum members car. Mine does not yet have a stripe. This stripe may be an option.

I personally feel the stinger stripe is an awesome look .... on a C2 where it belongs.

FWIW, I think the hood vent goes well with the stripe -- kinda like a rocket ship. If you want to go for it, do it in a way that is easily changed in case it doesn't work for you.

Silver with the red trim is great. The '67 stripe is great on a '67 but not a C7.

I like stripes, but not that one... Doesn't flow with the style and shape of the C7 IMO. I do like the Stinger stripe...
