Going topless today with the C7
While many C7 owners refuse to remove the coupe Targa top or only remove it a few times each year or over a period of years, the weather in New Mexico today was simply beautiful.
I decided to "go topless" and enjoy the great weather. This is our time of the year to enjoy the C7 with top off. We experience great weather from September to April before we start to see the temps rise.
No storage for winter here.

Beautiful.
Up here in the Beautiful Pacific Northwest, we don't have as many opportunities for top-off driving, but when those nice days come, I'm right there with you.
Not sure I understand the guys who never want to drive with it off...

That's what I thought
....until I took the targa top off in my 2002 C5, and then later on my 2007 C6; the fact that there's no place for the wind to exit meant (for me) that above 45 or so I started to feel like I was getting "beat up"by air with no place to go, and that's when I fell prey to the dark side and settled on my 2014 Z51 torch Red 7MT rag top.....

NMVETTE your Car looks great. I love going topless also, my top has been off since April. We are on opposite seasons, unfortunately for us here in the Chicagoland area today may have been one of the last days of going topless :

Yep, top off day for sure. I'm in Downers Grove and decided to put work aside today and headed out this morning with with the top off knowing today was likely the last day for a while to have the top off. Drove just to drive. Then decided to head out to Orland Park to take Mom out to lunch. Dropped my two kids off at different activities this evening and just zipped around until it was time to get them up again. Probably put on 150 miles today and enjoyed every one of them.

SoCal here, topless as much as I can. I'll try to jacket up and go topless Dec and Jan too. I'm so up for the life of a Conv without the noises and drawbacks from a soft top. 60 seconds is all it takes to manually take off or install my top

Nikon D3200 DSLR w/ AF-S NIKKOR 24-120mm f/4G ED VR lens.
The lens is expensive but well worth it. It is one of my favorites. Also used a 72mm rotating Polarizing filter.

I actually timed how long it took me to remove and stow the top yesterday. I figured it would take about a minute. I sat in the car with nothing already prepped for removal as if I were at a stop light and decided to remove the top. I put my phone on the console and started the timer function. Hit the hatch release, unlocked the three top locks, got out of car and lifted the hatch open, removed the top, properly stowed it in the trunk, shut hatch, got back in car and shut the door, stopped timer, 28 seconds. The engineers have done a great job in making it so easy and fast to remove and stow the top.
