Trusted shop in Las Vegas?
I need to have my brake pads and rotors replaced on my 2017 Z51. I don't want to do the work myself because it's too hot in my garage with 110 degree summer heat and I'm not sure I can make it until fall. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

While touring the country for 4 years I learned to use search to find Corvette stuff.

I definitely can search, and did search for Corvette and related performance shops. I was looking for somebody with significant experience with shops in our area. Websites are great, but they don't tell the tale.

What about the local dealer. Have you had bad experiences? They certainly have the experience if they have GM certified Corvette techs.

I talked to a shop this morning fairly close to me that had a lot of great reviews, owner is involved and in the shop daily, I think I'm going to let them do the install on the brakes for me. It's pretty simple job, anybody can do it in their home garage, so I'm not too concerned with it.

LOL!! I have a close female friend with a 2004 C5 Auto Coupe that is having serious issues with the drivetrain. She stated that there's a loud banging sound when in gear. My immediate thought was Torque Tube Couplers/Bearings. Had a good Corvette friend go to her house to help sort out the issue. Low and Behold the noise was gone and now the car wont move in any gear. SO,, My Torque Tube Coupler theory is more suspect. Problem is her finding a reliable corvette specialist shop that wont try and rip her off. One shop told her it was a bad engine and wanted "$13,000 dollars to fix it. YEP, You read that right, $13,000. I just hope that the tube is not destroyed so she can get it rebuilt.
So, I searched the Forum and found several post on LV Corvette shops. Searched the internet for C5 Specialist Shops in LV.. Here is what I found:
I know some of them are not full repair shops.
