Confused about brake pads

Burning Brakes
I went to Hawk Ceramics on my Z, no noise and very little dust. Hawk is the brand of pads the they use at the Ron Fellows school. Got mine from Amazon as well, cost for all 4 wheels $215.00, easy job to change pads.

It was over TEN years ago that Carbotech started building brake pads out of Ceramic, Kevlar, and Carbon for street, autocross and racing applications. Carbotech is the only brake pad manufacturer in the world with a complete line of Ceramic compounds for street, autocross, and track use. Carbotech-Ceramic compounds are known for their unsurpassed release & modulation, while maintaining very consistent torque control characteristics. Carbotech brake pads are extremely rotor friendly and contain 100% non-corrosive brake dust, that’s something that has been unmatched by any other brake pad in the industry 100% made in the USA in Concord NC.

They sent me the Z26-1836 for the front of my 16 Z06. They are NOT the correct ones. Waiting on them to get back with me. Another member said the front should be Z26-1405. FYI.

Melting Slicks
Power Stop told me they had no references for 2017 models yet. I bought the Z26-1405 (front) and Z26-1718 (rear) for my non-Z07 GS and they fit fine. GS and Z06 w/o Z07 are the same.
