This is the best time I have seen verified by slip for a stock C7 Auto. The cold weather probably helped this a good bit.

I'm racing the bracket series at Texas Motorplex this season. Between weather and getting sick, last weekend was my first outing. Car is 1LT base A8, completely stock, ~1,500 miles.
Ran 7.89s @ 91.3 with a DA of about 2,500'. First time out in the car period. Used launch control.

Going out tomorrow for the Muscle Car Club Challenge. I'll be able to run the full 1/4. We have a cool front moving in tonight so hopefully I get 1 or 2 passes with good weather and can duplicate the above (NORCAL-SS) 11.9 timeslip.

---------------------

85*, 2,500' DA, almost a full tank, went 12 flat. Not an official submission. Need an answer below.

So before I post my slip, regarding Rule #4, if I post this time and I go quicker/faster later, will I be able to update my entry?

It would be the same category. I'm stock/stock. I can post a time-slip that gets me on the board, but I know I can go quicker/faster.

Can I post my time slip now and update later in the same category with a better time? The rule seems to state no. If that's the case, I'll just wait.

Post what you have now and update later. Like mentioned earlier when you make mod changes just update for that particular category.

I'm still tickled at how quick these cars are bone stock. Launch control is consistent but a little lazy. Gotta figure out how the guys are getting 1.7-1.6 60' launches.
