Same, unless you tune to take advantage. Even then, not much.

Probably nothing. In fact, you may actually lose power. AFAIK, the factory tuning does not include a knock sensor that would command the PCM to ADD timing (and power) to the point that the octane level will support it.
You're better of running plain old 93/91 octane. It would not surprise me to learn that the C7 makes a few more horsepower with 93 than 91.

But I don't have that option because we have 98/95 octane
Nice runs on the strip BTW

The only way to gain power with/from higher octane gasoline is to increase the compression ratio.

Different way of measuring knock rating.
(R+M)/2 in the US vs RON in Europe and evidently, whereever you are

Ok I got now so it's only a calculation difference. And I thought that you guys are running 93/91 octane that was strange because we stopped using them late 90s and that was lidded

Thanks a lot guys

Original leaded gas was the bomb actually. 110 octane all day. Win.

Many times you can gain power by advancing the ignition timing which then normally requires a higher octane fuel to prevent knocking. GM, as most tuners do, could program the computer to have more ignition timing as well as programing the computer to not pull timing when the intake air goes above 89 degrees or the coolant temp goes above 213 degrees. That additional power is possible by using a fuel with a higher octane requirement and without raising the compression ratio.

Also cam timing can increase the Dynamic Compression Ratio, without altering the Static Compression Ratio and increase the octane requirements as well.
