Default C7 Shifter Sale

MTI Racing is happy to announce the release of our C7 Corvette Seven Shooter Shifter. The Seven Shooter Shifter is the smoothest and most precise shifter on the market today. This Corvette short shifter is specifically engineered to deliver a precise throw reduction without additional effort. The Seven Shooter Shifter was designed, CNC machined, and hand built in the MTI Racing machine shop using US materials only for the highest quality shifter available for your C7 Corvette.

During the month of August MTI Racing will be knocking $15 off the retail cost to Corvette Forum members only.
The Seven Shooter Shifter retails for $214.95, knock $15 off and you get $199.95.

In stock and ready to ship. Kick that sloppy factory shifter to the curb and replace it with the bolt action precise MTI Racing shifter. Nothing beats a Seven Shooter, period.

How does this compare to the MGW shifter? About half the price, so curious as to whether this is really a good deal or not comparable. Also, do you have install pics/videos? The MGW has many installs and the process to do so is very well documented/illustrated.

I'd like to understand/compare with MGW as well before pressing ahead...

Sounds like a nice piece. I've had short-shifters on all my previous cars, but I'm not yet convinced the C7 needs one...I shall continue pondering...

The way a shifter feels to each individual is as subjective as the sound of a particular exhaust system. As stated above our shifter was not designed to be the shortest throw in the industry, but to be a smooth and precise everyday driving shifter. Some short throws will become very stiff in stop and go bumper to bumper traffic, the MTI Racing shifter will not.

I do not do paypal but will be happy to talk on the phone.

Ponder no more....

I promise you a short shifter in the C7 makes a HUGE difference...I have always been partial to the MGW shifter and installed it in my C5, C6 and now C7...

I don't know if this one is comparable, it looks like a nice product...but as the stock shifter goes, ANY aftermarket shifter is better than stock...IMO of course...

And btw, friends of mine with C7's have tried out my shifter in my car and have noticed the difference....

my 2 cents....

Is the difference in feel only or does it yield faster gear changes?

Feel is 1000% better and so are the gear changes...shortens the throw by 30% which seems to be just right as it really doesn't increase the effort needed....

That retro shifter does look badass! Didn't see that option when I ordered my regular MGW.
