Default 2016 Corvette Z06 E-force Build Thread - LG Motorsports -

There are a number of things you can do with the new Z06 Corvette as far as performance upgrades, there are pulley changes, there are Procharger kits out there and also the E-Force Supercharger package. For those that like the feel of a roots blower, Edelbrock has made a very nice kit to replace the stock 1.7L supercharger with a bigger 2.3L unit as was found on the C6ZR1's.

Car:
2016 Corvette Z06 with the Z07 package and M7 manual transmission

Planned upgrades:
E-Force Supercharger
LG Super Pro 1 7/8 Exhaust
Corsa Extreme mufflers with black tips
HallTech CAI
LG Super Cool Radiator
Increased boost

Shipped enclosed from West Virginia

Just over 3000 on the odo

stock baseline dyno pulls

Stay tuned as the build progresses!

Why are the baseline numbers so low on these cars? I would think a GM Certified 650HP motor would put down more than 533rwhp.

We have had far more auto cars roll through the doors than manual, oddly enough. Most of the Auto cars are 520-530 rwhp, I was expecting a little higher as well but I ran the car three times at normal operating temps, the last one dipped into the high 520's.

Our very first 2015 M7 Z06 did put down 554 bone stock, in December so the weather was slightly better than the 101 degree heat I baselined the car in.

I understand; and it's simply pathetic that GM didn't do any better than the King of the Hill C6 ZR1. After having my C7Z for a month now I sure miss my modded C6 GS. It would easily spin the tires during 2-3-4 shifts. I'm disappointed in this Z car.

Thanks for your time Anthony. I'll be in touch for mod accessories soon and look forward to your end result with this build.

E-Force install is complete.

Dyno

Then install of full exhaust and re-dyno. Should have numbers for everyone first part of next week with these changes vs stock

Every dyno will read differently. You should know this having owned a previously modded car. The car may put down 530 on one dyno and 550 on another dyno 100 miles away. It all depends on weather, altitude of the area, etc.

The LT4 is SAE certified on an engine dyno for 650 hp. No more, no less.

Customer is adding a few other parts this week, some dress up under the hood with our carbon coil covers and a new Corsa with Black Tips.

I'll have all dyno runs posted once all tuning is completed.

What does the E-Force Supercharger net? More boost? Better cooling? More efficient?'
Just curious.

You are going to a bigger displacement blower so you can turn it slower while moving more air and making more power. This should be able to be done without heating the air charge as much as what the stock blower does.

I don't think this would be a track solution for the cars however.

The other part is having a bigger blower does open the door to make more power later on by moving more air at a higher boost level.
