Could be heading east to the GM plant in Oshawa.
I remember when the first ZR1 came out in the early 90's, I was a co-op student at GM and my boss' boss had one for a weekend. He noticed me drooling over it so let me take it for a spin when he came back from the weekend. That was the best co-op experience ever!!!

good spot!!! I'm close to Oshawa and have put the word out to keep a look out for it.... the execs up here were all driving Stingrays around this time last year. I was lucky to know someone who let us drive one,,, so hoping the same will happen with the Z.

It's probably a demo car for GM Canada. For journalists etc. they will mile it up then recondition and sell it.
I was lucky enought to be able to purchase one of the two C6 Z06 that GM Canada received. The. First 200 cars produced for the 2006 model year were all Z06 cars. Mine is # 183. Produced in June of 2005.
Car has 88000 km on it and still runs great. Best car I have ever owned.

Could it have been headed to Mosport race track? Years ago when the ZR1 was being developed, the one with the 32 valve engine from Lotus/Mercury Marine, I saw a bunch of Vettes being tested at Mosport by John Powell, even spent the day driving around the area with a bunch of Corvette engineers comparing the new Vette to European made exotics.
