That Viper seems pretty neutral with maybe a tad of push, though maybe that was you...looks like a good car. How well does the Viper manage everything on a track like that...brake wise, temp wise, etc? I wish I liked the look of the car a little more...I really tend to favor the ACR's as my must own Viper model.

You ever own an ACR or have an ability to compare the two on a track day level?

Fun stuff.

If you're interested (and have the time and money), I'll be happy to help you with the audio quality of your track vids. Recording audio with consumer-level cameras rarely works out well.

My front tires was pretty well shot at that point, otherwise the car is very neutral. Highest oil temp i seen was around 240 coolant about 10 lower on average. The car i traded in was a 2008 with acr aero, brakes, wheels, sway bars, etc only difference was i did mcs 2 way suspension vs the factory acr suspension. So basically an acr clone with better suspension. It also put down about 20 more rwhp than the TA as it was slightly modded. I thought i would miss the aero from the acr but dont seem to matter much, as long as what ever you have is stable. I think the TA has close to 400 lbs vs the acr around 1200 at 150. So far on the same tracks the lap times have been very consistion +/- 1 second. That could be the weather, traffic, me tires who knows they are close enough. I think out of the box the TA is a way better street car and as good a track car as an acr. I also think the TA and C7 Z is probably on the same playing field, you could probably say the same with the zr1 and acr. All 4 very close cars. Probably cant wrong wrong with any of them.

At Mid-Ohio almost every turn is off camber, so many of them make the car looks like it's pushing. It's very technical. Most technical I've driven for sure.

Yeah, i've been there several times, just never driving unfortunately. I had it all lined up in 2013 but...fell through. Haven't seen much track time past 2.5 yrs. Couple bad investments and business deals wiped me out. Hoping to get back out there soon...

Viper looks like a sweet machine though. Gotta love N/A hanging with that Z06 for damn near even money....pretty awesome. I've tried to like Vipers more. I must say Competition coupes definitely get me excited...
