Thanks for posting the pics of my car. I will try to get some more closeups of the wheels.
But to answer the question about the barrels, yes they are black chromed as well.

Those are sharp.
Much, much better than the black painted stock wheels.

Those look super nice!
I wonder how they would look on a black z0?. It would be interesting to see if it looks as good as gloss black powder coat with black car.

I want to say that I have always been a chrome guy, and did not care much for black wheels. But these black chrome wheels are an awesome blend.

I thought black chrome died as many manufacturers don't want to deal with it, but damn they do look good.

I doubt it died. Maybe for OE companies supplying wheels to car mfrs. because the market is relatively small. But two of the biggest wheel refinishers are in Cal. and MI such as CalChromeWheels and Detroit Wheel.

Sweet ad?
Picture was taken by a company doing photos at a car show this past weekend in Louisville. For what I paid, I am not going to complain. Only thing I wish had come out better is the come on the wheels. They are not nearly as shiny as compared to seeing in person.
But that's ok. There a lot of "not perfect" pictures of black wheels all over this forum.

I saw Brian's car this past weekend at the Iroquois show. 11 hundred plus cars each day. No car at the show(this was a hot rod/muscle car show, not a Corvette show) was photographed more or had a continuous crowd around it like this Z06. Unlike Brian, I am a black wheel guy and these wheels are fantastic. Everyone loved the car and the wheels.

I agree Race U, the chrome on the rims makes them stand out much better than just black. But I am sure they cost a pretty penny?
