What size jack puck??
Gonna order the jack puck from either Reverse Logic or Katech.
My car has the side skirts; do I need the taller puck or will the standard work?
Edited to ad: I will be using a low profile floor jack.

I bought the Reverse Logic standard size jack puck for my 2016 Z06 that has factory side skirts. No problem with the jack clearing the side skirt. The Reverse Logic pucks are first class in construction.

I used hockey pucks with my C5, but do they clear the C7Z side skirts?

I have a 15 Z06 with the side skirts and use a Harbor Freight 1.5 ton jack to lift the car. With a hockey puck sitting on top of the jack pad the car can be lifted without the jack hitting the side skirt. It comes very close but doesn't hit.
The big problem comes when I use my lift. There I need a thicker jacking puck because the lift arm is thicker right where it comes under the edge of the side skirt and it will push up on the side skirt.

I ordered the Reverse Logic pucks with extensions, found the extensions were not necessary and returned them for full refund. However, at the right front location, my 2-post lift was just barely contacting my factory side skirt. No problem, included with the pucks were 4 large plastic spacer washers. One of them made the difference and I'm good. Can't speak about a jack, but I'm almost sure you will not need the extensions.

Been using the same scrap 2 x 4 blocks I had in the garage for over 10 years on my C5, C6 and C7. I've never understood why anybody would spend money on something like this but it's their money so have at it. These work GREAT.....

I agree that this is a great, low-cost alternative, however with the C7Z side skirts, the blocks would have to be small enough to fit between the jack lift plate and the carbon fiber skirts cutout to the frame rail lift points. Hockey pucks usually fill that space nicely or the higher cost lifting pucks with lock keys.

To clarify, the large plastic washers are installed under the T-bolt and become an integral part of the puck. No chance for anything to slip.
I'd be careful putting anything plastic under there......... jack may slip there is a post in the general section about what happens when a jack slips.
