There I was, admiring the ACS side skirts I'd just installed. My wife said the care looked complete with them. Then I went to lower the jack... Off to the dealer tomorrow.

Car, not care. Obviously I didn't take enough care.
Yuck. That really sucks and I am sorry for you. Did it slip off the jack as you were lowering it? How did it happen?
Yep, I had removed the saddle from the jack so it would fit under the puck but I didn't have any non-skid material on it and it slipped. Now I'll be out the cost of the repair plus the cost of the skirts (and a replacement set). To top it off, in taking off the unbroken skirt I figured out that I could mount the skirts without lifting the car. I am constantly reminded that you're never too old to do stupid. This month I was going to buy the MGW shifter and next month a set of wheels and the all-season tires in October. Not so fast, butterfingers.
There was a post about a vendor who worked with the car owner, and was agreeable to sell one skirt only, instead of the guy having to buy both. Check with the vendor and see if he'll do the same. Good luck.

Oops again. Already gone. Besides, my paint job left a lot to be desired. Thanks anyway.
Contact ACS and I bet they will sell you just the replacement skirt you need. I ordered my Z06 skirts direct from them and the customer service is exceptional.
Thanks for posting what happened because you probably saved some other owners from making a similar mistake. A big issue with floor jacks is either the jack, item being lifted, or contact point has to move horizontally when the vertical lift amount has changed and if the jack wheels cannot rotate freely the movement has to happen elsewhere.
I admire you for having the backbone to "fess up." In doing so, you provide a valuable reminder to others, and you could save someone from serious injury.
