Picking up my new 2016 Corvette Z06/Z07 3LZ
Hey, Everyone. I've been a member of this forum for over 5 years now. I don't contribute much, but I often visit the site and check out stories and photos. I have an affinity for sports cars and have owned a handful of Corvettes in my past including a 1984 C4, 1995 C4, 2006 C6 convertible, 2011 GS convertible, 2009 ZR1 and now a 2016 Z06/Z07 3LZ.
With as much as I like Vettes, I have to say that this new one is by far the most impressive and fun one I've ever owned. I am so excited about it, I had to break my silence and share it here with others whom I knew would appreciate it.
This may be kind of weird, but my son and I like to vlog. We're not good at it, but we have fun with it. My son and I went on road trip recently to collect my new Z06. We took his new Corvette, a 2008 4LT coupe. We video recorded as much as we could, and I put a vlog together to document the experience. I thought I'd share it with you all today. Sorry if it gets boring and silly, but I figured you all might like to see the cars (and see what goofballs we can be).

Awesome, nothing like bonding between a Father & Son with cars!!!
I used to be into Ford SVT Lightning's, my Son Ryan loved coming to the drag strip and riding in it with me, for his 16th Birthday we surprised him with a 2003 Lightning of his own, it was priceless to see his face when the truck was pulled out from the back of the dealership with a huge red bow on the truck. We fooled him saying we found an older Honda Accord with high mileage as his first car on the way to the dealership, the look on his face was priceless!!!
Anyways, great job Dad, enjoy your new Z06, it's beautiful and make lots of memories with your Son!!!

Thanks Everyone for the kind words. I wasn't sure how dorky this was going to seem by sharing this video (and maybe it still is a bit dorky), but I appreciate all your comments. There is nothing like being able to bond with your son over cars!!!

That is a life building memory for you both. Thanks for sharing that with us. Love the Z06, awesome car. Enjoy it. It is great to see the wonderful relationship that you and your son maintain.
God Bless your family and may you get another new Corvette again.
