There's a part of me that still feels like this should be branded a Caddy, as opposed to a Vette. But I do think GM will actually release a mid-engine car soon... More images on the HP.

Naw....I hope it's a Corvette, not a Cadillac.

It's hard to tell by the pictures but to me it really doesn't look much different body style wise from a C7...

Yeah, because the XLR was such a success, right? If it's a Caddy, I predict it will be a failure in the marketplace. Nothing against today's Cadillacs, we've owned CTS's and SRX's and currently my wife drives a XT5. Cadillac and high-performance sports cars just don't mix.
I do think it will be a Vette, and I think it would be cool if they called it a Zora. Also, we should have some new renders tomorrow.

Catera? You must be kidding. I don't think Cadillac would ever bring back that name. That car was a flop. Only sold less than 95,000 total in 6 years. Besides, Caddy has gone to 3 character model names: CT6, XT5, ATS, XTS and their -V derivatives.

Of course I'm kidding! Catera is right up there with the Cimarron as far as disasters go. Just a bit of hyperbole there. Like I said, I think branding this car a Zora would be a nice historical nod, and a little different than the alphabet soup nomenclature which dominates today's automotive landscape.

It looks to me like the mules are not even running with the front clip installed. Im guessing just the crash bar under that bra thats why the front looks so flat and stubby.

I don't know why people assume this ME car is a C8.
Could be an ME prior to the debut of the C8.
