Cost of original car + mods + GM parts + paint + labour = $$$

No idea. That car has a clean title though.

A '07 Auto goes on eBay for low 40s. So yea, the parts added up would probably go over 49k. No idea. Maybe the Z06 was stolen? Then it's free parts.

It just has a body kit...Its a regular C6 coupe in disguise.....

Why someone would do that I do not know

Yes we know... but a '07 auto goes on eBay for about $42k. We're wondering how they can throw all the body parts and wheels on, and still only sell it for $49k.

Yep its a C6 with the Z06 widebody conversion, can tell by the calipers, removable targa, and the LS2 engine pics

I sent a message to the poster on ebay. Here's the reply,

Dear smook,

This car is almost new, no salvage history, it's got 1100 miles!, I've seen the original fenders and such in the GM boxes used to package the Z06 parts. There is no jack in the box with this car, but don't take my word for it, do a Carfax, send an appraiser, or come in person. You won't go away saying it's anything other than impressive. You, or anybody else couldn't buy this car bone stock and untouched for this price, if you need more technical info, call the 703 phone number in the ad, he's the owner and he can answer the tough questions.
