Default New Wheels

Bought these 2014 C7 Stingray wheels from C6Paul, installed and balanced by Mike at Champion. Interesting how the car looks like a nice deep shade of blue in the pictures. I like that colour.

Before:

After:

Now I can get the larger brake rotors and calipers like from a Grand Sport or Z06, and I'm going to paint in the Corvette on the wheel once I decide if I'm going to paint the calipers.

You sure about the Z06 brakes Stan? The issue with fitting them on a base car has more to do with width/offset than wheel diameter.

I have them on my cay - you're welcome to test fit one of your C7 wheels on mine to be sure...

Ok, maybe not the Z06 but the Grand Sport should fit. That's what Rob was telling me. Aren't they the same tho? Z06 and GS? The cavity on the inside is much bigger than the stock C6 wheels.

Did you need to use any spacers or were you able to fit them as is?

Congrats on the change. did you have any plans to change their colour? I wonder what black plasti dip would do or gold with your black paint.

I fit them as is Pat. The wheels are the exact same size and offset as the C6 5 spokes.

The Z51 wheels, while being 19" and 20", also have the exact same offset. +.56 front and +.79 rear and I'm still looking for a set of these.

Perfect example.

Am considering powder coating, or painting them a nice high glossy black.

How's these Rick? They are similar being 5 s pokes, but the s pokes are a little thinner and have a different shape to them.

Yeah, I don't think so Al. I drive way too much in the city to even consider doing that.

What do you mean, let the mods begin? List of mods done:

ZR1 Rear Spoiler
Lloyds Mats
Corsa Extreme Exhaust
Pioneer NAV
and now the C7 Wheels.

Looks good Mr Stan!!

Yes, the Grand Sport and Z06 brakes are the same, just different color, but you can paint those too. You can label the calipers what ever you want on them, put the vinyl on then clearcoat them.

I would advise a gloss paint or powder coat, plasti-dip is okay as a temporary thing, but it just attracts the brake dust like a magnet and doesn't clean nearly as easily as paint does.

Don't lower it, you actually drive your Vette, ride height looks good as is.
