Default C6 Wheel Sizes / Offset options

First, I've been searching through old threads for about an hour and can't come up with definitive answers so if there IS a thread out there that answers all the wheel/tire combinations possible, I'd love to see it.

Stock C6 Rim Sizes & Offsets:
Non-Z51: 18X8.5/+56 w/245/40 (25.7 dia.) tires & 19X10/+79 w/285/35 (26.9 dia.) tires
Z-51: 18X8.5/+56 w/245/40 (25.7 dia.) tires & 19X10/+79 w/285/35 (26.9 dia.) tires

Aftermarket C6 Rim Sizes & Offsets (max):
Non-Z51:
Z-51:

Stock Widebody C6 Rim Sizes & Offsets:

Aftermarket C6 Rim Sizes & Offsets (max):

Someone help me fill in this information correctly and definitively! I'm shopping rims/tires for my '05 C6 and from what I've read, an 11" wheel on the back will stick out beyond the fender. 19x9.5 and 20x10.5 seem like the most common C6 aftermarket wheel sizes but I'm not sure of the correct offsets for those sizes. Help is appreciated, of if there is already a thread out there, that works too!

A list all of all of the possible tire/wheel combinations has never been posted here, at least I've never seen it.

Stock base model F/R is 18X8.5/+56 w/245/40 (25.7 dia.) tires & 19X10/+79 w/285/35 (26.9 dia.) tires

You can put 18X9.5/+53 w/275/35 (25.6 dia.) tires & 19X11/+79 w/325/30 (26.7 dia.) tires on the base car with no rubbing of the fenders.

I do not believe Z51 brakes are a problem but bigger Z06 brakes may be an issue with some wheel brands/models.

Front to rear tire diameter ratios need to stay relatively close to OEM to avoid AH intervention.

Tire diameters listed are as per the Tire Rack. A great resource for this stuff, by the way.

So if I'm reading this right, if I wanted to go 19x9.5+53 in the front and 20x11+79, it should fit, correct?

I don't know if the larger diameter wheels will still fit.

I just listed specs from wheels that are sold by Forum Vendors that are known to fit.

I'd call CCW and check wtih them. They always get it right and have many styles to choose from.

nice, 325 wide, super sport tires should help keep it stealthy.

With a base c6, I see a rear offset of 79 although I also see chrome wheels which were suppose to be take off'swith a 78 offset. Would the 78 offset work?

hoping to move to a 11 inch rear this winter. I'm at 415whp now and with super sports they barely hang on. Planning to bump that about 60ish whp, so I definitely need to do something about the tires. Just debating whether or not to widen the stock rims or just buy new rims. I do love my gunmetal on atomic orange stick wheels.

I was was looking at a picture of a lemans blue c6 with some gorgeous gunmetal wheels. Looked almost like volk te37 but I don't think that's what they were. Anyone know the car I'm talking about and which rims those are by chance?

Did you ever find out if the 78 offset would work?
