I can't seem to get the little brake dust specks off my chrome wheels. Can anyone recommend a cleaner that will safely remove this stuff? If I use a fingernail, it starts to rub off so I know it's not pitting. Any thoughts?

Are the wheels clear coated? If not, any metal polish should work.
If they are, just try waxing the specks off.

The wheels are standard-issue 2010 Grand Sport Chromies. I ended up using Turtle Wax chrome polish... It worked like champ... Blinding shine.
