How come they don't do it at the factory? Sat Kuhmo/ Hoosier

Actually, I'm still up in the air about heat cycling vs running a heat cycle and letting them cool down oneself.

Because heat cycling mainly helps longevity. Longevity is important to YOU, not to the manufacturer. They would just as soon have you wearing tires out on a regular basis and buying more.

The cycling helps the life on the Kuhmo but the new hoosier does not require any. The reason we cycle the tires is to get the mold release compund off of them for the most part. The compound lends them to be a little greasy but when we cycle them we basically trailer the car to a place with a abrasive surface and do circles to get the mold release agent off of the tire. We dont even really get them up to temp.
