Here are a few other forums I spend time on
10-thenths ( mostly europeans trying to recreat the racing of 20 years ago)
http://www.ten-tenths.com/forum/foru...7&styleid=1023
The Racers Forum ( some times slow - but good new info when it comes up)
http://www.theraceforum.com/
I troll around Rennlist too.

the rumor is the Other Forum has way too many controls and the Mods are not nice.
I do know that I posted some things and they were all edited for either too large a pic or for providing links to non-forum vendors.
Now I can understand the pics, but the link being edited was for PDA Driving so people would know how to register. they dont have another HPDE sponsor so I dont see where the problem was.

I've never seen that to be true though

The RR section over there has pretty much died out now that subdriver isn't active in T1 and pintaric switched to vipers...
I will agree with Lancer - this one had the worse reputation from what I heard...seems the ego-maniac mods (if here) tend to stay out of this section at least.

I can understand protecting the vendors that are keeping the site free for the rest of us, but at the same time it has to be open for discussion. Look at that vendor that just closed its doors and people are losing a ton of money on engines and stuff they bought. If they were not allowed to talk about that vendor more and more people would be screwed.

The one thing that does drive me crazy is the Mod wannabees screaming IB4TL on every other post

When I changed my email address, I couldn't post over there anymore. I emailed mods with no response. I posted "Help" threads with no response. I finally just left completely. There's no info over there that's no available here.

I have been around to other forums and at the end of the day. The only forum that counts is this one, particularly the Auto-x & Roadrace. The other forums don't seem to have a roadrace focused subforum, at least not one with as competent indivuals.
