Default Fender liners

On a track car do the fender inner liners have any use, or should I leave them out?

SWC cars have no inner fenders. They do keep a ton of crap off your motor.. I think the may be bonded to the frame and not easy to remove. David Farmer would know as he built a SWC car.

Rears aren't bonded to the frame. I replaced mine with wider units when I did the LPE mini tub. FWIW.

My rears came out when I started taking the gas tanks out in preparation for welding in a 4pt cage. I'm thinking of leaving them out.

I didn't know the fronts don't just unscrew like the rears.

Running in the rain (which I don't like to do) is about the only reason I can think of to keep them on. I suppose rubber marbles will get stuck everywhere.
