Basically, I loved my z, but I was afraid what was going to go next....I can deal with parts breaking on the track due to use, but when the car starts to crap out just crusing, its time to go.

Nice ride! Funny that after owning a black Z06 you switch to silver... I bet this is common.

My dad told me about the valve spring issu... I cannot believe GM wouldn't repalce the set for you, you must have gotten a bad batch.

I heard this one was going to stay mostly stock... I can see swapping the brackets to run el cheapo rotors, lowering, performance allignment, and some harnesses.

It will stay mostly stock...maybe...ha! probably just the normal intake and cat back..I do not think I will go with the stingers this time, but possibly the touring borla system....mainly due to the noise inside the car and that no one could hear me on the phone. So far im impressed with the car...the performance is very similar to my z...im sure you are going to smoke me at vir though!

Ryan,

Congrats on the new Vette. It will be interesting to hear your thoughts on the 2 cars from a performance view point.

Just came back from a tour of the Vette plant and museum. Seeing all the shiny new C6's gave me the itch too. They sure look great!

See you at the Vette HPDE.

Ryan,

Sorry to see you ditch the FRC but any new car is awesome, you just can't replace the feeling! Congrats! Hopefully I'll see you soon at the track, it's been too long!
